Mauricio Zuazua

Over fifteen years of experience advising business leaders and top public sector officials on topics encompassing strategic growth, innovation, diversification and capability development across 20 countries and multiple industries. Mr. Zuazua is currently based in UAE, but has worked out of Dallas, New York, São Paulo, Mexico City, and Washington, D.C.

In the public sector, Mr. Zuazua has led the crafting and implementation of national development initiatives in emerging markets, including building of national defense and security capabilities, building and enhancing institutions, and enhancing economic competitiveness through innovation, industrial stimulation and diversification, and industrial clusters development.

In the private sector, Mr. Zuazua advises CXOs and leads the development, planning and implementation of future-proof strategies, organization transformation programs and merger integrations in asset-intensive industries including Aerospace and Defense, Logistics Infrastructure and other manufacturing. Further, he brings extensive experience in greenfield start-ups and mega-project structuring, planning, funding, business development and launch – in developing economies.

He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS Hons. in Civil Engineering from ITESM, Mexico.
