Mr. Bernardo Afonso de Almeida Gradin is a Partner at Graal Invest. Mr. de Almeida Gradin founded GranBio Investimentos SA(also known as Graal Bio Investimentos S/A) in June 2011 and has been its President since inception and its Chief Executive Officer. He served as Chief Executive Officer at Braskem S.A from August 2008 to December 2010. He served as Head of Braskem’s Vinyls Unit, Head of Basic Petrochemicals Unit and Vice President Executive Officer of Braskem S.A. He has worked for the Odebrecht Group for 25 years. He was the president of Abiquim from 2009 to 2011 and board member of ICCA, Anpei, IBP, ETH, among others. He holds a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from UFBA, an MBA from Wharton Business School and a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania
